Just an idea, thought you might like to expand on. if its possible.

Make your flash file transparent in its own window, with the histograms and other tools in a separate window(tool box).

that way you can put your pixel bender over any website, desktop or application. Over any image any size.

the next trick would be to have an screen capture button that is the size of your window.

wow, this is some very powerful stuff indeed. PixelBender… GPU optimised (but still running cpu cycles in the browser) I remember when photoshop was nowhere near as rapid.

Some buy built a raytracing engine with PixelBender.
