Apple shows off iPhone!
Yes. It’s true. It actually is true, and the name is actually iPhone. And yes, it’s absolutely amazing.

The price for the 4gb model will be $499 and the 8gb $599 (with 2 year Cingular contract). Available in June, Europe end of the year and Asia 2008.
There’s no doubt what my next phone will be.

Well, there is a doubt for me. I don’t know if I would like to pay that much for that phone. Now, if they release a iPhone Nano - then I’d love to have one. I just think this is a bit overkill for me.
But I fully agree, this is an amazing phone and I almost cried when I found out that we had to wait until Q4 to get our hands one one (if we even get one by Q4, Europe is not equal to Sweden).

True. Also, like I said it’s the first phone apple has ever made, which puts me in some doubt .. It’s really nice and all, but I guess I was a bit overexcited when they announced it.

It would certainly be nice to know that the iphone is finally in our hands,but how powerful is the product compared to other phones like my 6945 HP ipaq with all that the iphone can offer and even powerpoint,word,excel on the go and more wich the iphone donnot offer as far as i am concerned,can i make presentations with it,do office work on the go and send it to my office system..? or is it the ease of navigating buttons which i think is the bedrock of the desighn that would sell it? cos mine tells me real time navigation and tells me about gas stations and churches and hospitals and all the good stuff that the iphone should do…and the memory is flash not built in as i would have thought…i need to test drive that thing and see what it does better…for free ..yes ! for free cos i cant pay that much for just a phone not pda.
